Pator: Rev. John H.
McKeown
Rev. John H. McKeown and wife,
 Dianne are both natives of Chester, SC and graduates of Chester
High School. They have two sons, Hugh his wife Angela and Justin.
John
received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Furman University and a Master of
Divinity degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville,
Kentucky. He completed one year of Clinical Pastoral Education at Baptist
Hospital in Louisville.
John has served as pastor of churches in Indiana
and South Carolina before coming to Old Lexington Baptist Church where he
served a one year interim before accepting the call to become pastor in
February, 2006.
Secretary: Marie Oswalt
Marie Oswalt has been Secretary at Old Lexington Baptist
Church for thirty years. Marie and her husband, David, have been members for
thirty three years. They have two sons, David ( wife-Carmen) and Bryan
(wife-Jennifer) and seven grandchildren who are also members.
Marie
says "I feel this is my ministry to God by serving Him as Secretary, Treasurer,
Clerk and coordinator of activities and organizations here."
